Episode 87 – Super Nintendo: ORCHESTRATED with Orchestral Fantasy
Andrew Thompson, known on YouTube as Orchestral Fantasy, is a classical musician with a love of classic video game music (mostly from the SNES era). Together with some guest musicians who share his passion, they recreate many of the greatest musical moments of the 90s using real instruments and adhering closely (if not identically) to the original arrangements.
If games like Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, or Mega Man X give you a fix of nostalgia, you’ll love checking out the backlog of over 100 covers from the 16 bit era (as well as a few from NES and Playstation!). With new videos released weekly as well as a recently published album, there are tons of reasons to check out Orchestral Fantasy on YouTube!
